Grassroots Basketball
The Baseline Phoenix Basketball Club is our community basketball programme. Through the club, youth from the local community come together for weekly development skill sessions, weekend competitions against other community clubs, and holiday programmes just to name a few.. The club space is space for where kids can learn, develop, and most importantly, HAVE FUN.

Sunday's & Thursday's
Our development skill session members work on their dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. We also help better their overall understanding of the game. Youths of all ages and ability levels are welcomed. Our session members are placed in levels that will continue to challenge them to reach their full potential. But most importantly, our club session members learn how to have FUN.
Girls Club
Weekly on Sundays
Our GIRLS CLUB development skill sessions caters for girls ages 7 to 17. The programme offers our young ladies an environment that's not only catered towards them, but gives them a space where they can learn, train, play, and feel comfortable in. Just like our weekly sessions, we establish the foundational properties in the game while also working on the little nuances that will give them confidence on the court.
Weekly Competition
Saturday Afternoons
The Baseline Phoenix Basketball Club will be returning to WEEKLY Saturday competitions in 2024 competing in the local 'Synergy League' in New Lynn. The competition is available for U12, U14, and U16 players only. The competition helps to provide a safe and FUN space for our community to compete in and utilize what they've learned in our Baseline Phoenix Weekly Development Skill Sessions in a live game setting.

F.O.C.U.S. Sessions
Coming PUBLIC in 2024
Throughout the year in 2023 we've been holding private small group sessions every early Sunday morning at Lynfield College. We're now ready to share with the public in 2024.
These sessions are geared towards our more INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCE basketball players ONLY; high school players recommended During our sessions, we not only focus in on advance skill sets revolving around ball handling, shooting and finishing - but sharpen up on decision making on the court and how to play out of various 5 v 5 scenarios. If you're son or daughter still needs to work on their basketball fundamentals, please register for our Baseline Phoenix weekly development sessions instead.
We're capping the limit at 20 players per term to ensure we maximize the opportunity with one another.
